Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Zedcut. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your organization.

The service

Zedcut is a cloud software platform for countertop fabrication shops, including design tools, slab nesting, quoting, invoicing, scheduling, and team collaboration. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring team members comply with these terms.

Organization admins control invitations, roles, and billing for their workspace.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in CAD through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle unless otherwise stated. Fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Zedcut. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Violating applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Attempting to access another organization’s data without authorization
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or overloading the service
  • Uploading malware or using the service to send spam or fraudulent documents
  • Misrepresenting your identity or your business to clients

Your content

You retain ownership of designs, quotes, client records, and other content you upload or create in Zedcut. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (for example, generating PDFs or sending emails on your behalf).

You are responsible for the accuracy of quotes, invoices, and client communications you send through Zedcut.

Availability and support

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via our contact channels.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Zedcut is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Zedcut by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

Sections that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
