Terms of Service

Zedcut is a software platform for countertop fabrication shops, including design tools, slab nesting, quoting, invoicing, scheduling, and team collaboration. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring team members comply with these terms.

Organization admins control invitations, roles, and billing for their workspace.

Paid plans are billed in CAD through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle unless otherwise stated. Fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

You agree not to misuse Zedcut. Prohibited conduct includes:

You retain ownership of designs, quotes, client records, and other content you upload or create in Zedcut (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Content solely to operate the service (for example, generating PDFs or sending emails on your behalf).

For Customer Content that includes personal information of your clients or other individuals, you are the organization responsible for that information. You represent that you have a lawful basis to collect and process it (including under Quebec Law 25, PIPEDA, and GDPR where those laws apply to you) and that you have provided any required notices. We process such personal information as your service provider / processor to provide Zedcut according to your instructions and our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of quotes, invoices, and client communications you send through Zedcut.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Where privacy laws require consent for certain technologies (for example non-essential cookies or analytics), you agree not to circumvent those controls on our marketing site or in the application.

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via our contact channels.

Zedcut is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using Zedcut by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

Sections that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and privacy-related responsibilities) will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Quebec shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
